At Svarta Hästen, the chessboards are yellow and red, the pieces have the perfect weight, and the wine list is extensive. The most distinctive feature of the interior is the custom-designed chess tables, created by furniture maker and artist Kim Björnson from Gothenburg. The bar is made entirely of elm wood, providing a contrast to the chairs by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli.
